Hi All,
I wanted to give my thanks and appreciation to Robby Turner for all of his incredible music he's put out over the years. Some of my favorite albums of all time have Robby on them. He was also very encouraging to me in regards to some posts I did of his solos and such. It was a huge boost for me and gave me more confidence in my steel playing ability. Robby will be missed!
I was in my garage last Christmas trying to get some peace and quiet, wrenching on a Jeep, changing sensors, new stereo etc. I was listening to the Gin Blossoms first album, because I like it, and having a phase with it. Are they kind of an alt. country band? Suddenly, this really great steel solo came up, and I had to stop and see who it was. Sure enough, it was Robby!
Here it is!

One of the best compilation recording was Rhythm Country and Blues, Robby is on every tune, so great. Totally worth checking out !
