Celebrating my friend Bobby Ingano from Lanai City, Hawaii, as he marks another year of life. May God bless you richly, my friend.
Shortly after the Sacred Steel Music & History Museum opened its doors, Bobby donated a Hawaiian guitar and several of his recordings to be displayed in our collection. His generosity strengthens the bridge between our tradition and its Hawaiian roots.
Sacred Steel will forever be connected to Hawaii and to Joseph Kekuku, whose invention of the Hawaiian guitar helped shape the sound that eventually found its home in our churches and our community.
