TONEX
How many people are using the tonex?Anyone using it for live sound. Seems pretty small and simple especially when Joe has done all the leg work. Anyone using anything small and compact that you like as well or better. I talked to Joe and it seems pretty simple.

Re: TONEX
Gary, I use the ToneX live with Joe’’s tone models which work great. I have it on my pedalboard and run it to a Jay Ganz or Quilter power amp with a PF-350 cab. If you’re concerned you can use your amp setup and run the ToneX in the return send loop to bypass the amps preamp using it as the backup. I see several players on the Forum are currently using it live. Sure, I would love to have the amps that Joe has modeled but for an occasional gig it’s a great alternative.

Re: TONEX
Gary, I play through a TONEX One exclusively. I have tried it directly into the board, and in some venues, it works; however, I usually play through a Fender FR-12. I have mounted my tone to the right rear leg of the guitar. My setup is as follows: Shafer Sierra -> SGBB mini -> StroboStomp -> Hilton volume pedal -> Fender FR-12 -> Tonex One -> FePA. With the Tonex one clipped to the leg of my Steel guitar, I can access four presets.
